Our design process involves establishing programmatic requirements, hand drawings, renderings, computer modeling, solar orientation analysis, and electronic construction documents. All architectural creations reflect the desires of the client and the unique qualities of a particular site. We employ passive and active methods of resource conservation, promoting a harmonic relationship between the built and natural environments. When community planning, we emphasize safe, healthy, pedestrian friendly neighborhoods that incorporate the appropriate scale and density to blend cohesively with the contextual landscape. Architectural space is a reflection of personality and a sanctuary for the soul.

If you are looking for a creative architect who is both easy to work with and fast, we strongly recommend Cody McLaughlin. Cody is very talented and resourceful and incredibly responsive – due to my work’s travel demands we were often corresponding about details late into the night – waking up to a new set of drawings in the morning. Cody made the process simple and handled everything with the City, beginning to end.
Your professional expertise in designing the remodel, blending it in with the existing dwelling and maximizing the aesthetic and practical utility of the final project was outstanding an beyond my expectations. Further, your assistance in getting the project through the review and approval process with the Architectural Review Board, the California Coastal Commission, City Planning Commission and the Building Department in a timely manner and without compromising the design was also greatly appreciated.
